Yes. Both Claude Cowork (provided by Anthropic but deployed and managed by Moterra) and Moterra AI Bridge deploy inside your own cloud tenant, AWS or Azure, so your data, prompts, and files never leave your environment. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, accessed through private endpoints with your own KMS keys. Moterra operates strictly as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement that meets both UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements.
No. Deployments run inside your cloud tenant using Anthropic’s third-party deployment architecture, with Claude models delivered via AWS Bedrock or Azure AI Foundry and no data flowing back to Anthropic. Your prompts, files, and outputs never reach Anthropic’s or any third party’s training pipeline. This is guaranteed by architecture, not policy. Two reasons. Model preference: Claude is the model most knowledge workers prefer for professional writing, analysis, and reasoning, and it is why teams often ask for it by name. Deployment model: ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Gemini all run inside their vendors’ tenants, which is a fine trust model, but you do not own the environment. Moterra runs Claude inside your own AWS or Azure tenant, so the data plane, keys, and governance stay entirely with you. It is the difference between renting a secure office and owning the building.
Technically yes, Anthropic and AWS publish the components. In practice, teams spend three to six months on MDM setup, identity integration, MCP plugin development, admin console, and ongoing operations. Moterra delivers this as a managed service: pre-built MDM profiles, tested MCP plugins, and standard identity integrations bring setup to one to two weeks, plus ongoing support. You own the deployment; we operate it.
